YEIDA Allots 20,000 Sqm for EV Hub Near Jewar Airport

YEIDA has allotted a 20,000 sq m plot in Sector 8D to Neenjas Electric for a ₹169 crore EV charging technology facility.

In a significant move to bolster India’s "Make in India" and "Clean Mobility" goals, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has officially issued a Letter of Intent (LOI) to Neenjas Electric Pvt Ltd for a sprawling 20,000 square meter plot in Sector 8D, Greater Noida.

A Strategic ₹169 Crore InvestmentNeenjas Electric plans to deploy an investment of approximately ₹169 crore to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This unit will specialize in the production of on-board and off-board EV chargers, IP-rated charging equipment, and solar power banks. By focusing on the two-wheeler and light commercial vehicle segments—the fastest-growing parts of the Indian EV market—the project addresses a critical infrastructure bottleneck in the transition to electric mobility.
