Discover how Noida is transforming through ₹10,000+ crore worth of infrastructure projects — from airports, metros, and roads to Film City and solar plants — by 2028.

Noida and Greater Noida are entering one of the most significant transformation phases in India’s urban landscape. Over the next five years, a wave of large-scale infrastructure projects — from new elevated roads and metro extensions to international airports and film cities — will redefine how the region moves, lives, and invests.
Backed by over ₹10,000 crore in active development, this growth push will directly boost real estate, attract industries, and position Noida as the next urban capital of North India.
A 5.5 km elevated stretch connecting key residential and commercial clusters will finally decongest the Dadri–Surajpur–Chhalera (DSC) Road. Once operational, it will cut travel time between Sector 49, 50, and Bhangel to under 10 minutes, benefiting thousands of commuters daily.
Completion: September 25, 2025
A proposed 7.5 km elevated corridor running parallel to the DND Flyway will link Sectors 57 and 58 directly with Delhi.
The project’s feasibility study is underway. Once built, it will reduce traffic load on the expressway and serve as a vital connector between South Delhi and Central Noida.
Stretching 5.96 km, this elevated road will create a smooth link between Chilla and Mahamaya Flyover, solving one of NCR’s longest-standing bottlenecks.
Completion is targeted for 2028, ensuring seamless connectivity between East Delhi, Noida, and Greater Noida Expressway.
A 3 km link road is being developed to connect Greater Noida directly with Noida International Airport (Jewar).
The Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be finalized by November 2025, enabling fast and direct access from central sectors to the upcoming airport.
Noida’s Ganga Water Project will deliver a major upgrade to the city’s residential infrastructure.
It will fix low-pressure issues and ensure 24/7 water supply in over 100 sectors, including Wish Town, Sector 128, 134, and 150 — improving livability across high-density residential zones.
A luxury 18-hole golf course worth ₹130 crore is being developed by Noida Authority in Sector 151A.
Apart from boosting recreation, it’s expected to lift property values along the Noida–Greater Noida corridor and attract tourism and hospitality ventures.
Deadline: End of 2025
Starting October 2025, a ₹220 crore investment will upgrade power substations and transmission lines across Ghaziabad and Noida.
This will ensure consistent power supply for both residents and industrial hubs — essential for new data centers, manufacturing parks, and residential projects.
A 4GW solar energy project, with Letter of Intent (LOI) already issued, will be established in Greater Noida.
The project aligns with the region’s green energy transition and supports future industrial and township zones with clean, renewable power.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has proposed five integrated townships east of Noida, covering 56,000 hectares.
These hubs will blend industrial, tourism, and residential zones, driving employment and infrastructure by 2027.
The much-anticipated Jewar International Airport is nearing completion.
The airport will be a major economic catalyst — creating thousands of jobs and anchoring new logistics and commercial districts along the Yamuna Expressway.
The Aqua Line is expanding from Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V, adding 11 stations by 2028.
This will seamlessly connect YEIDA and Greater Noida with Noida’s existing metro grid, significantly improving commute convenience and property accessibility.
YEIDA’s Sector 21 will soon host an International Film City valued at ₹1,510 crore.
Construction starts in 2025, and once complete, it will become North India’s largest film, media, and entertainment complex, generating high-end jobs and creative investments in the region.
These 12 projects are not isolated upgrades — they represent a coordinated push to make Noida a self-sustaining global city by 2030.
The combination of expressways, metro links, renewable energy, and aviation infrastructure will:
Noida isn’t just growing — it’s reinventing itself into a connected, modern, and economically vibrant city ready to rival India’s biggest metros.
