The plan covers a staggering 36,000 acres (approx. 32,000 hectares) and introduces 46 new sectors, bringing the total number of sectors in the authority’s jurisdiction to 98. This is not merely an extension of the previous 2031 plan; it is a fundamental shift toward an "Aerotropolis" model, where the city’s economy and layout are entirely anchored by the Noida International Airport at Jewar.
