The Delhi–Varanasi bullet train will cover 70 km from Delhi to Noida Airport in just 21 minutes. Stops include Noida Sector 148 and the airport GTC, with the full 816 km route completed in 4 hours. The train improves airport connectivity and access to major tourist and pilgrimage destinations across Uttar Pradesh.

The upcoming Delhi–Varanasi high-speed bullet train will stop at Noida International Airport, significantly enhancing regional connectivity. An in-principle agreement has been reached between the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHRCL) and Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) for an underground station at the airport’s Ground Transportation Centre (GTC).
Two key stations will be constructed in Noida:
The train will cover 70 km between Sarai Kale Khan (Delhi) and Noida Airport in 21 minutes, while the entire 816 km Delhi–Varanasi route will take just 4 hours, reducing travel time by more than half. The elevated track will run along the central median of Noida and Greater Noida Expressways, parallel to the Yamuna Expressway, before reaching the airport GTC.
This link will improve accessibility to Noida International Airport, providing faster travel options for passengers arriving from across India and abroad. The train will also streamline travel between Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi) and Noida Airport, making airport transfers more efficient.
The bullet train will connect multiple cities and towns including Noida Airport Jewar, Mathura, Agra, Etawah, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Prayagraj, Bhadohi, and Varanasi, creating a high-speed corridor across Uttar Pradesh.
The project will also enhance access to major pilgrimage and tourist destinations:
This improved accessibility is expected to boost tourism and economic activity along the route.
